1 Preface

The itools software is a library for the Python¹ programming language. With about 35.000 lines of code, it offers a large range of capabilities to the Python developer.

From an Index&Search engine to a Template Language (STL), going through a Virtual File System and support for many standard file formats (XML, ODF or iCalendar). Including a database layer for the filesystem and advanced technologies for Internationalization and Localization.
